PROFESSIONAL GOAL:
To continue to integrate my knowledge as a Graphic Artist in new ways in the prepress area, using these skills in the area of web design.
COMPUTER SKILLS:

- Familiar with Quark Xpress, Indesign, Photoshop, Excel, Illustrator, ImageReady, and Dreamweaver 4.0.

WORK EXPERIENCE:
May 5, 1985 – Laid off February 5, 2010 – Burton and Mayer Inc.
- Journeyman Stripper and Platemaker.
- Instrumental in the programming and operation of the computerized Step and Repeat Machine.
- Lead platemaker using CTP equipment.
- Maintained CTP equipment, and worked one on one with technical support technicians that came to work on the equipment.
EDUCATION:
Moraine Park Technical College: Currently enrolled in I.T. – Web Design/Developer program.
Milwaukee Area Technical College: Additional classes in Data Communications, Office 2000, Intro To Digital Media, Web Page Design, Digital Media Lab, Web Marketing, Business Information Systems, Operating Systems, Financial and Managerial Eaccounting, and Interactive Design/Multimedia.
Milwaukee Graphic Arts Institute: Certificates received in Desktop Publishing I, II and III, plus Electronic Image Assembly I and II, Computer To Plate, Preflight, along with Advanced Quark Xpress. Received Achievement Awards in Image Assembly, and Computer To Plate.
Milwaukee Area Technical College: Completed classes in Pagemaker, Quark Xpress, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
Bachelor of Science Degree: Concentration in Graphic Arts from U.W.–Stout. Minored in Journalism. Graduated in 1983. Student taught at Chippewa Falls High School.
Milwaukee Area Technical College: Associate of Applied Science Degrees: Printing and Publishing, Administration and Operations. Graduated in 1980.
