Mobile Devices
We also looked at creating sites for mobile devices, using WAP, WML, and HTML. WAP is the older version that was used when mobile devices were relatively new, and did not support HTML very well. WML was the next generation that was used for viewing web sites on a mobile device, but that too was still somewhat limited, as it did support the HTML, but the page did not display very well. Today's smart phones, and other mobile devices seem to do a good job of displaying HTML and CSS, although the viewer must resize or scroll the screen to see the site. Here are examples of each type. For the HTML site, I did try to make the site for a 240X320 screen size. I had good luck viewing all of these using Adobe Device central.
