Rapid Prototyping
Project of choice
I chose rapid profiling as my project of choice. I used Adobe Fireworks to do this after watching videos at Lynda.com. The idea of rapid prototyping is to give a potential client a feel for what the final web site will look like without actually having to create the web site before the client decides exactly what they want. For this project, given the time restraints, I created three potential thumbnail web sites, using different colors to indicate the masthead, nav bar, main and footer divs. The videos did in usinig shades of grey, but I thought by using colors, it would look better, and once I have established the colors coding for different elements, that it would be much easier to grab them and place them, and then give the client a color key so they understand what the colors mean.
